I’m a third year fine art student based in Pretoria. After graduating from Hoërskool Garsfontein in 2017, I perused my passion for art at the University of Pretoria.
Through learning a variety of practical and conceptual skills, I am able to create work that allow me to experiment with different mediums while exploring different aspects within a conceptual theme.
Through mostly working with photography, painting and sculpture, I investigate the complex connections we have with our surroundings and with others.
I have participated in many group exhibitions facilitated by the University of Pretoria. Alongside that, my most recent project completed outside of the university was presenting my conceptual and commercial pieces in a show house completed and staged in association with Big Pond Properties.
In June 2020, I participated in a group exhibition at Johann van Heerden’s art gallery in Pretoria that used augmented technology to create a multi-layered viewing experience.
In 2019 I also created a piece as part of an artist group for Oracle’s head office in Johannesburg. This project was facilitated by the University of Pretoria.
